The origin of Asana–the practice of yoga postures–was to prepare the physical body to sit comfortably for meditation.
The practice of Chanting prepares the body energetically for meditation.
Join Gina and Chip Guffey the 2nd Tuesday of the month from 7:30-8:30pm for Yoga & Chant.
During the first part of the practice, Gina will lead students through a flow of yoga postures to prepare the body for chanting and meditation.
Then, Chip will lead the class in an easily accessible chant practice, finishing with a time to sit in silence.
