2:00 p.m.: Skincare info session w/ Bernadette Brooks

Did you know that the skin is the largest organ in the integumentary system (hair, nails, skin and exocrine glands)? Our skin takes a beating from harsh UV rays, environmental pollutants, fragrances and soaps. Everyone’s skin is different; so it can be hard to know how best to take care of it. If you’ve been worried or wondering about your skin, come out to our 2019 Fall Open House and meet our aesthetician to find out your exact skincare needs! Bernadette Brooks will be offering FREE skin consultations from 2 to 3:30 p.m. She will help you identify your skin type and be able to provide you with information on products and routines to help you take care of your skin! Bernadette is owner of Bees Waxing Room in Bowie, MD. She also holds appointments at Evolve on Sundays.

2:30 p.m.: Reiki demos w/ Andrew Schumann

Reiki involves healing through relaxation. In order for the body to heal, it needs to relax first. A Reiki session with Andrew can aid in this experience through energy work. He draws cosmic healing energy from the Universe through his crown chakra and channel it through his heart chakra and hands into your body or auric field that surrounds your body. A Reiki session with Andrew can aid in relieving aches and pains from injuries, to relieving (and sometimes eliminating) cramps from menstrual cycles. After a Reiki experience, clients leave feeling at most, like they’ve gone through a positive transition in their life; and at least, that they just awoke from an incredible power nap! There is little reason not to experience Reiki; all are deserving of receiving the loving, healing energy of the Universe.
