200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training
This teacher training offers a comprehensive, experiential and integrative curriculum in a non-authoritarian environment, encouraging students to discover their own unique style of teaching in a wide variety of settings. This training draws from a diversity of yoga styles but is rooted in the belief that taught skillfully and mindfully, yoga can be accessible to all regardless of age, shape or flexibility. We believe in building a strong working knowledge of posture alignment, modifications, benefits and contraindications and anatomy therefore seek to strengthen a student’s current practice of yoga, to develop personal empowerment and to enhance and build skills of communication, leadership, awareness, observation, practice and teaching. It is our intention to provide participants with the skills necessary to be an effective, safe and inspiring teacher. This program is also of tremendous value to those who are interested in deepening their own personal knowledge of and inquiry into the principles and practices of yoga.
Typical Yoga Teacher Training Weekend Schedule:
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM Yoga Practice
10:45 AM – 1:00 PM Morning Session
2:00 PM – 5:00 PM Afternoon Session
