Kundalini Yoga: New Class @ Evolve!

Kundalini YogaFollowing the success of our workshop in May with Sujjan Saroop, Evolve is excited to be adding a Kundalini class to our schedule this summer! Join John Oster on the first and third Sundays of June, July and August for an introduction to Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan.
Kundalini is the yoga of awareness. By expanding our awareness, we can move closer to that great potential within each of us. A Kundalini practice uses movement, breath, mental focus, hand positions and mantras to manifest a state of consciousness.
Class is from 7:30 to 8:45 a.m. on June 2 & 16; July 7 & 21; and August 4 & 18.
About John: John began a practice of Hatha yoga in 2000 to address back and hip pain. His first exposure to Kundalini was at the Omega Institute, where he met up with Ann Hunt for a class. The predawn timeframe, rhythmic movements, breathwork, and meditation all attracted him to this style. He obtained a certificate as a Level One Instructor (200 hr) through the Kundalini Research Institute and did his training at Radiance Yoga, Alexandria, in 2013.
