Preteen Yoga Returns: Tuesdays, 5 to 5:45 p.m.
Join Kathy Therrien on Tuesdays beginning August 27th from 5 to 5:45 p.m. for Preteen Yoga. This special yoga class for ages 9-13 will allow tweens the opportunity to explore numerous yoga and mindfulness skills in a supporting, non-competitive community with their peers. These skills help growing tweens navigate life’s challenges with a little more ease. Yoga practice can help tweens learn to regulate their mental and emotional states, and in turn relieve stress to promote better focus, clarity and creativity. Focus will be placed on improving balance, strength and coordination, and each class will conclude with relaxation, giving tweens self care techniques to enable them to be the best version of themselves (physically and emotionally) in their daily lives. Mats are available to rent or you can bring your own personal yoga mat. No yoga experience necessary. Drop-ins are welcomed! Class passes are also available.

Hallie will be offering TWO Barre classes during the week at Evolve. Catch her on Sundays from 11:45 to 12:45 p.m. and now on Tuesdays from 8 to 9 a.m! Barre is a form of exercise that utilizes a ballet barre as a tool to systematically isolate muscles throughout the body, take them to fatigue, and then stretch them out resulting in long and lean muscles. Evolve’s Barre classes will take those core concepts and combine them with the wonderful tool of the rope wall to deepen postures and provide extra support. Come join this muscle strengthening class, and remember to bring your mat, water, and an open mind!
