Over the course of this training students will:
- Explore anatomy as it relates to yoga postures (planes of motion, bones, fascia, joints, muscles and types of contractions)
- Make meaning out of postures: identify relationships within the body (how movement in one part of the body affects a different part of the body) and how these relationships create patterns that will make it easier to create more balanced classes
- Explore the concept of a “Multi-Dimensional Being”: how breath, the nervous system and the emotional anatomy all work together to support our whole selves and how to identify imbalances in any of these areas that can throw our bodies off kilter.
This training will be offered over three weekends in early 2019: January 12-13; February 2-3; and March 2-3.
